Leadership Reporting

Creating a report for your board or council

Funding Reports (`/reports`) turns your department's capital needs and funding data into a summary built for the people who have to approve it -- your board, council, or finance committee.

What it shows

Reports summarize your funding portfolio by state -- fully secured, partially secured, pending, potential only, planned only, or unfunded -- for the current fiscal year, alongside the same funding-impact figures used elsewhere in Capital Command. Nothing in a report is a new number; it's the same real data from your needs and matches, organized for a leadership audience instead of a working session.

Why the categories matter here too

Leadership generally wants to know one thing first: are we actually funded, or are we hoping to be? Reporting a need as "pending" instead of quietly folding it into a total keeps that distinction visible all the way up to the board.

Individual needs also have their own report view, useful when you need to make the case for one specific project rather than your whole capital plan at once.
